OUR HISTORY AND PHILOSOPHY

Albertville Quality Foods (AQF) was founded in 1988 by a group of individuals consisting of some of the poultry industry pioneers.  Their mission was to produce and sell what was a relatively new item at the time----breaded chicken fingers. Over the years, the business grew and prospered into a successful brand. In 1989, the AQF began selling to their first national restaurant chain, and the product line continued to grow to meet the consumers' changing needs.

The company grew over the years by adding respected and knowledgeable leaders in the poultry industry and in 2000 the company was purchased by an investment group who currently owns Albertville Quality Foods. The original owners realized the potential this company had and realized the untapped growth potential the company had. This began an unprecedented growth period in the company's history as new products were introduced and new customers were secured. New lines were added and new shifts were started and AQF was on a great growth track.

Today the company is still owned by an investment group and is run by poultry industry experts with a senior management team with over 80 years of experience.  We continue to strive to add new products to keep up with the changing retail grocery industry and the fast growing food service industry and maintain the same quality we have had since 1988.  AQF has an extensive line of products to service the food service industry and we are an approved supplier for many of the largest chains in North America. While our retail business is centered in Alabama, we are reaching out to other outlets and expanding the Top Chick brand.
